Samantha
Farinella New
York City based film maker Samantha Farinella is founder of One Angry
Woman Productions. She produced and directed five documentaries and four
narrative shorts that have been featured in both national and international
film festivals. Farinella was recently commissioned to photograph political grafitti art throughout Chile with a grant from Yale University. Her photography can also be seen as part of Here is New York (hereisnewyork.org), a "Democracy of Photographs" in response to the World Trade Center tragedy. Currently, Samantha is managing acclaimed spoken word artist Alix Olson and is in production for a documentary chronicling the touring culture of queer artists. Christie

Christie is currently responsible for community outreach in the Educational Marketing department at Women Make Movies, a non-profit feminist film distributor. She recently completed The Girls Project, a new initiative celebrating young women's lives around the world, sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts. Her next project, entitled "Bringing It All Back Home," is a collection of films and videos centered on women, labor and the global economy. In addition to her work with WMM, Christie has done development work for the NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund. She is a photographer and writer based in Fort Greene, Brooklyn and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University. Colin Mutchler Colin
is the founder and president of activefreemedia,
a company that creates a virtual community of people and organizations
that use media, money, and technology to build a sustainable culture of
responsibility and freedom. He is also a musician and media jockey who has performed in New York City venues such as Halcyon and the Bowery Poetry Club. Colin is Web Producer for Listen Up!, and is a graduate of Duke University where he majored in Public Policy Studies. |
